Job Description: Ten Seven Security is seeking experienced, professional, and dependable Armed Security Officers to provide a strong security presence and protect our clients, their employees, visitors, and property. Armed Security Officers are responsible for conducting patrols, identifying and responding to potential threats, handling security incidents, enforcing site policies, and completing detailed reports. This position requires sound judgment, professionalism, situational awareness, and the ability to respond appropriately in high-pressure situations.
Job Requirements: Current Texas DPS Commissioned Security Officer License (Level III) Must meet all applicable Texas requirements to legally carry a firearm while performing commissioned security duties Ability to safely and proficiently carry and handle an authorized firearm Strong situational awareness and threat-recognition skills Professional appearance, communication, and conduct Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment during emergencies and high-stress situations Strong conflict management and de-escalation skills Ability to accurately document incidents and complete detailed reports Ability to follow post orders, use-of-force policies, security procedures, and client requirements Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and remain active for extended periods Ability to perform the physical duties required for an armed security position Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Availability to work assigned shifts, which may include days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays Nice to Have Previous armed security experience Prior law enforcement, corrections, or military experience CPR and First Aid certification Experience with CCTV, access control, or surveillance systems Experience responding to emergencies, disturbances, or other security incidents Benefits 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Full uniform provided Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Notice I understand that I have rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), including: The right to request disclosure of the nature and scope of any investigative consumer report The right to receive a copy of any report if adverse action is taken based on it The right to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information A summary of my rights under the FCRA will be provided to me if required by law.
