About the role

The Secretary serves as a recording and corresponding officer and shall: Prepare and present minutes, within 3 business days, for all business meetings, maintain a current list of all Board members and their contact information, maintain a record in the minutes of all committee members and monthly reports of those committees.
Ideal Candidate: Strong organizational and administrative skills Excellent written communication and attention to detail Experience with note-taking, scheduling, or administrative support (or someone very interested in learning). Students highly encouraged Comfortable using tools like Google Docs, email, and calendars Interest in nonprofit governance or operations Must attend monthly board meetings. Usually once a month. Sometimes twice leading up to the event.
