Part-Time Retail Style Associate

About the Role: This is a part-time position of approximately 12 hours per week, typically three 4-hour shifts. Candidates must be available to work at least one Saturday per month. Individual shifts are 4 hour blocks of either 10-2 or 2-6.As a Style Associate, you will: Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming shopping experience Help customers find clothing and accessories that fit their personal style Provide thoughtful style advice and outfit suggestions Build relationships with customers and provide excellent service Keep the sales floor neat, organized, and visually appealing Unpack, process, and merchandise new arrivals Maintain organized fitting rooms and sales areas Operate our computerized POS system and process sales accurately Work collaboratively with the rest of the Blue Star Bazaar team

What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate is: Outgoing and personable — you genuinely enjoy talking with people Fashion-minded with an interest in clothing, styling, and current trends Customer-focused and naturally helpful Dependable and responsible — you show up when scheduled and follow through Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable learning and using a computer-based POS systemA self-starter who notices what needs to be done Positive, enthusiastic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced boutique environmentA team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed Retail or fashion experience is a plus, but a great attitude, strong customer-service skills, and an interest in fashion are just as important.
