Role Description: The Montessori Lower Elementary Teacher is a full-time, on-site position located in Tampa, FL. This role involves guiding students in grades 1–3 through Montessori-based lessons, small group work, and individualized learning plans across core subjects. The teacher prepares and maintains a well-organized classroom environment, designs developmentally appropriate materials and activities, and observes students to document progress and adjust instruction. Daily responsibilities include communicating with families and colleagues, supporting social-emotional growth, managing classroom routines, and participating in school meetings and professional development.
Qualifications: Hold or be in process of obtaining, a Lower Elementary Montessori credentials from a MACTE accredited training program. Ability to design and implement age-appropriate learning experiences, demonstrating strong Curriculum Development and Elementary Education skills. Demonstrated Teaching expertise in Montessori or student-centered classrooms, with a focus on fostering independence and critical thinking. Strong Communication skills, including clear, empathetic interaction with students, families, and colleagues. Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required; advanced degree is a plus. Ability to maintain an inclusive, safe classroom that supports learners of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Organizational skills, reliability, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a school community.
