Job Overview Job ID: J52883 Job Title: Payments Business Analyst Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 9 Months + Extension Hourly Rate: Depending on Experience (DOE) Work Authorization: US Citizen, Green Card, OPT‑EAD, CPT, H‑1B, H4‑EAD, L2‑EAD, GC‑EAD Client: To Be Discussed Later Employment Type: W‑2, 1099, C2C Role Summary We are seeking Senior Payments Business Analysts with deep expertise in SAP IDoc‑based payment integrations to support an enterprise‑wide ISO 20022 and Hybrid Address migration initiative. This role requires hands‑on experience with legacy payment formats, complex field‑level mappings, and close collaboration with SAP, payments, and integration teams. Key Responsibilities Analyze end‑to‑end payment processing workflows, including H2H and SWIFT channels. Perform field‑by‑field mapping from SAP IDoc payment messages to ISO 20022 formats (e.g., pain.001, pacs.008). Support Hybrid Address and structured/unstructured address compliance requirements (CBPR+). Translate business payment requirements into detailed mapping specifications and data dictionaries. Work closely with SAP functional/technical teams, integration teams, and payments operations. Troubleshoot IDoc‑related data, mapping, and transformation issues during migration and testing. Support SIT/UAT cycles and production readiness activities. Required Skills & Experience 8–12+ years in payments domain business analysis. Strong hands‑on experience with SAP IDocs related to payments (e.g., PAYEXT, ACC_DOCUMENT, custom payment IDocs). Solid understanding of ISO 20022, CBPR+, and Hybrid Address mandates. Experience with SWIFT, H2H file‑based integrations. Ability to work with poorly documented or custom legacy implementations. Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
