We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused environment. Woodholme is investing in a new irrigation system, has a 10-year equipment plan with upgrades to walk mowers, fairway and rough units, as well as sprayers and robotics. As a manager, you will be supporting the golf maintenance operation and an integral part of the equipment fleet maintenance. Ideal candidates are team-oriented and analytical problem solvers. They have extensive knowledge of the care and operation of internal combustion engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and the maintenance of mowing and grounds equipment.
Salary Range: $95,000-$110,000
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and readiness of the golf course equipment fleet, including mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, trailers, and small engines. Develop and manage a preventive maintenance program to maximize equipment performance, reliability, and longevity. Establish repair priorities and ensure equipment is prepared to support daily operations, tournaments, and special events. Manage equipment inventory, parts procurement, and maintenance-related expenses in partnership with the Golf Course Superintendent. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Requirements: Associate degree from a technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience; training in diesel mechanics, automotive technology, or small engine repair preferred. Related equipment maintenance experience required; golf course maintenance experience preferred.
Working Conditions: Frequently uses hands and regularly stands, walks, climbs, bends, and lifts. Frequently lifts up to 50 pounds and may move up to 100 pounds. Works around machinery, fumes, airborne particles, and varying outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level.
