About the role

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Draftsman to join our team in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will produce accurate shop and fabrication drawings, working closely with our engineering and production teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background along with a knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.
Responsibilities: · Create Detailed shop, fabrication, and as-built drawings.· Interpret blueprints and construction specifications.· Revise drawings based on field measurements and change orders.· Maintain drawing files and revision control.· Create Bill of Materials of the sheet metal components with their associated drawings and flat patterns.· Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, production, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.
Qualifications: · AUTOCAD· Knowledge of PTC Creo Modeling and detailing is a plus. Other 3D solid modeling experiences are acceptable.· Ability to read and work with Architectural Floor Plans & Mechanicals.· Certificate in Computer-Aided Design Operator.· AS Degree Architectural Design and Construction Technology.· Building Construction Technology.· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.· Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities. Working conditions/Working environment:· Exposure to moving mechanical parts, sharp objects, and power tools.· Warehouse environment.· Confined spaces slight.· High elevations slight.· Moving objects-moderate (forklifts, carts)· Noise level-severe (equipment, tools)
