Job Description: Job Description We are seeking a CNC Programmer Machinist to work in a small shop environment, programming and operating CNC lathes, CNC mills, and mixed equipment across varied production work. Reporting to the shop owner, this role will use Autodesk Fusion 360 with Mazak and Okuma controls while supporting setup, production, quality inspection, and machine care.
Responsibilities: Program CNC equipment using Autodesk Fusion 360.Set up and operate CNC lathes, CNC mills, and mixed equipment. Select appropriate cutting tools and manage tool offsets. Set up fixtures and edit G-code as needed. Perform first-article, full in-process, and operator self-inspections. Complete in-process inspection and verify precision measurements. Perform preventive maintenance on CNC equipment.
Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of CNC programming and machining experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with Autodesk Fusion 360.G-code programming experience. CNC mill and lathe operation experience. Experience with Mazak or Okuma controls. Blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing experience. Strong precision measurement and problem-solving skills.
