About the role
To support compliance with the bluesign criteria, the full-time Chemical Assessor - Textiles will perform assessments, prepare documentation, and conduct follow-up evaluations, with the opportunity for occasional business travel to Canada and Latin America while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct company assessments onsite, including pre-evaluation of documents and report writing
Manage the implementation process to achieve compliance with the bluesign criteria
Perform follow-up assessments to monitor continuous improvement at client companies
Required qualifications:
Educational background in engineering, natural science, or a technical degree related to textiles
Knowledge of product stewardship, classification, labeling, and regulatory affairs
Experience in chemistry or plastic industry manufacturing
Prior auditing experience in environmental, health, and safety fields
Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills for multicultural teamwork
