Job Description We are seeking an accomplished, results‑driven sales professional to join our dynamic Customer Organization at Gracenote to drive new business for Gracenote's emerging advertising solutions. As Senior Director Advertising Sales, you'll be responsible for building a new book of business, directly engaging with customers at brands and agencies to educate them on the value of Gracenote’s Content Connect advertising offering, develop leads, and convert business opportunities. Responsibilities Deliver on new business revenue targets by actively pursuing new client acquisition and building a substantial book of business for Gracenote Advertising. Aggressively expand the client portfolio and outperform competitors by working closely with advertisers and agencies to uncover creative, high‑impact avenues for growth. Build, nurture, and leverage strong relationships with senior executives across major advertising and media agencies and brands, particularly with contacts on the programmatic side of the business. Be a key individual contributor in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment, contributing directly to the commercial success of this new business line by driving new client acquisition, successfully converting business opportunities, and exceeding individual revenue targets. Forecast and manage sales pipeline with data fluency; owning the predictable growth of your territory for Gracenote. Qualifications 10 years of demonstrated experience driving significant revenue growth in highly competitive, fast‑paced markets and successfully navigating industry disruption (e.g., streaming growth, privacy changes). Proven experience securing complex, multi‑year, multi‑million‑dollar deals and a history of overcoming client resistance to change. Strong track record of building and maintaining deep relationships with agencies and clients, with a focus on programmatic contacts, leveraging these connections to meet and exceed commercial goals. Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to build trust in evolving data environments. Key Knowledge Data Strategy: Deep understanding of data and audience driven strategies, and the role of content metadata in a complex media ecosystem. Programmatic Technology: Fluency in how programmatic technology is automating the process of Connected TV buying. Audience Targeting: Expertise in leveraging data for audience segmentation, modeling, and activation across various platforms, especially in a privacy‑safe manner. Content Targeting Solutions: Fluency in selling solutions that connect content and audience through advanced targeting, personalization, and measurement.
