About the role

Komar Alliance is looking for a highly motivated account manager to fill a role in the Illinois/Wisconsin area. This is a well-developed territory with plenty of additional growth opportunities for the right person. This role will report to the Eastern Region Sales Manager. The right candidate will be someone with a proven history of growth both through building on the depth of relationships with existing customers but also by seeking out and cultivating new customers. This individual will be accustomed to working with an internal customer service team as well as directly with vendors for technical support as needed to ensure accounts are serviced and Komar is adding value. They will be technologically savvy with the ability to learn, understand and be responsible for documenting customer interactions via CRM software. They should have a basic understanding of how supply chains operate in order to best be able to relate to our customers challenges and find solutions for them to help build value. While a background in textile management will be hugely helpful it is not an absolute requirement. Business travel will be necessary although the amount of overnight travel required will be dependent on the location of the salesman and needs of the customers. It would be reasonable to expect at least 5 nights of travel per month. Compensation is commensurate to experience but will include a company vehicle and a combination of base salary and a commission/bonus structure as well as health care and 401K.Komar is a 4th generation distribution company that services the sewn products market across the US.
