As a Kitchen Team Member, you'll be at the heart of delivering the craveable food and drinks that Sonic fans love. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food orders accurately and efficiently according to Sonic's recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, and prep stations safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace at all times
- Monitor food quality and freshness to ensure every order meets brand standards
- Work collaboratively with carhops and front-of-house team members to fulfill orders quickly
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed during shifts
- Follow all food safety, health, and safety guidelines consistently
Requirements:
- No prior experience required — we will train the right candidate!
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume quick-service restaurant environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-first attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet minimum age requirements per local labor laws
