About the role

Pathways Food Pantry Coordinator The Pathways Food Pantry Coordinator assists the Director of Food Pantry. This position will coordinate distribution, donations, and volunteers for the Pathways Food Pantry. This position will work approximately 25 hours per week: Tuesdays-Thursdays 5 hours per day at the GUM Client Choice Food Pantry. Fridays 3:00-7:00 PM and Saturdays 9:00 AM-1:00 PM at the Pathways Food Pantry. Other duties may be deemed necessary as assigned by management. Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Equipment used includes a computer, copier, iPad/tablet, telephone, floor jack, flatbed car, and hand truck. Working conditions involve varying temperatures from cold in winter to hot in summer. Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent required, 2-3 years of experience preferred, a valid driver's license is required and must have own reliable transportation, and ability to lift 65 pounds or more. Standing, carrying, reaching, sitting, walking, push/pull, and bending are also required. Key competencies include strong communication and organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with visitors, staff, and leadership with professionalism and courtesy, ability to multitask, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and must be compassionate, flexible, and demonstrate the ability to interact with diverse people and situations.
