This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance, identifying issues, and helping drive continuous improvement on the production floor.
Position Overview: The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods. This position ensures adherence to customer specifications, internal procedures, and quality requirements while documenting findings and communicating any discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed inspections on incoming materials, work-in-progress, and finished products Utilize precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications Conduct audits of production processes and verify standard procedures are followed Identify and report non-conforming materials or products and assist with corrective actions Maintain accurate inspection records and complete required documentation in a timely manner Work closely with production and leadership teams to resolve quality concerns Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
