Director of Product & Program Management Series-A Software & Robotics Company Denver, COWe’re partnering with an innovative software and robotics company to identify a Director of Product & Program Management to lead both product strategy and cross-functional execution for a complex hardware and software platform. This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product management, engineering, and commercial strategy. You’ll own the product roadmap, define what gets built and why, and ensure development programs are delivered on time across mechanical, electrical, controls, and software engineering teams. What You’ll OwnProduct Strategy & Roadmap Define and own the long-term product vision and roadmap. Translate customer insights, market trends, and commercial priorities into product decisions. Establish product requirements, prioritize the backlog, and make clear tradeoff decisions. Define product configurations, standard offerings, and customization boundaries. Partner with executive leadership to align product strategy with business objectives. Evaluate adjacent markets and identify opportunities for product expansion. Program Leadership Lead cross-functional product development programs from concept through commercial launch. Build and manage integrated development schedules across hardware and software engineering. Drive dependency management, critical path planning, and risk mitigation. Coordinate suppliers, contract manufacturers, and external development partners. Ensure successful transition from engineering into manufacturing, operations, and field deployment. Convert customer and field feedback into future product enhancements.
What We’re Looking For: 8+ years of experience spanning both product management and technical program management. Demonstrated ownership of a product roadmap, including defining priorities, making tradeoffs, and influencing executive stakeholders. Experience leading cross-functional development of complex hardware and software products. Strong technical foundation with an engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or similar) or equivalent hands-on experience. Ability to engage engineering teams while communicating effectively with executive leadership and boards. Commercial mindset with experience evaluating product strategy through customer value, unit economics, and business impact. Proven success influencing teams and driving execution in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Preferred Experience: Robotics, automation, AGVs, AMRs, material handling, industrial automation, or related technologies. Capital equipment or industrial technology products with long sales cycles and complex configurations. Productizing hardware platforms from early deployments into scalable commercial offerings. Fleet management software, telemetry, remote diagnostics, or connected devices. Safety-critical or regulated products. Real estate technology, construction technology, building systems, or EV charging infrastructure. Experience building product management processes within a scaling organization.
