About the role

Volunteers play a major role in the success of our programs at Challenge Unlimited at Ironstone Farm! They assist instructors with therapeutic riding lessons by offering support and guidance to our clients and/or leading the horse during the lesson. Bonding with clients and watching their growth is extremely rewarding! Volunteers are needed Monday-Friday during the morning, afternoon, and evenings, and on a very limited basis for Saturdays between 9:30 am - 2:00 pm. We are interested in all who are willing to give us some of their time in exchange for a fun and rewarding experience! The minimum age to volunteer is 13 years old. No horse experience is needed! Interested individuals need to submit a volunteer application, which we will email to all inquiries. Watch our video to learn more: Healing with Horsepower

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
