Contract Personal Assistant/Household Assistant

Our client, a private family in Chicago’s western suburbs, is searching for a Contract Personal Assistant/Household Assistant to provide coverage for the current Personal Assistant. This is a junior-level opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable assisting with a wide variety of personal, household, and administrative needs.This is a hybrid position with 4 days in-office per week.Responsibilities:Manage house and personal calendars including travel, appointments, and daily commitments.Coordinate with vendors regarding household projects, renovations, and related needs.Execute household to-do lists including tracking invoices, booking travel, and holiday planning.Perform local errands such as purchases/returns and deliveries.Research and present household solutions for approval as needed.Requirements:1+ years of personal assistant or similar support experience required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, Trello preferred.A service-oriented and adaptable work ethic.Excellent communication skills including the handling of confidential materials.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a high level of detail.Proven track record for maintaining privacy, trust, and professionalism in all matters.Comfortable within a household environment and traveling on the job.
