Job Description: OVERVIEWSeeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join a manufacturing team producing air cleaning units. This position is responsible for assembling motors, wiring, and sheet metal components while meeting quality and production standards. A key focus of this role is the ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure proper assembly and functionality of finished products.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assemble air cleaning units, components, and subassemblies using hand and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and assembly instructions. Install motors, wiring, and sheet metal components according to specifications. Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy. Follow established safety procedures and manufacturing standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Rotate between production areas and assist with various manufacturing tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1 year of assembly or manufacturing experience. Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills required. Ability to follow written instructions and production documentation. Experience using hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Excellent attendance and dependability.
