This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing complex cardiac conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, and heart failure. Responsibilities include patient and family education on illness management, medication administration, and post-treatment care, while promoting a healing environment. Critical nursing skills are essential for evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers to involvement. The role requires working in a safety-sensitive position, demonstrating alertness and safety consciousness. Preferred candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience. Skills include critical thinking, patient education, teamwork, and adaptability to high-acuity settings.
