operational consistency, develop high-performing leaders, improve business performance, and build scalable practices that support the organization's continued success.Position OverviewThe Vice President of Operations will provide strategic and day-to-day leadership across the company's operations, with responsibility for operational excellence, team development, financial performance, and organizational growth.This individual will work closely with operational and field leadership to establish effective operating practices, improve performance, develop talent, and ensure a consistently high-quality customer experience across locations.The ideal candidate is a people-oriented leader with high standards and strong business judgment—someone who can establish accountability while building trust, developing talent, and maintaining strong relationships throughout the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Organizational CultureBuild and maintain a high-performance culture focused on accountability, teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement.Provide leadership and direction to field operations and management teams.Establish clear expectations while creating an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and motivated.Serve as a visible and engaged leader throughout the organization.Reinforce a people-focused culture centered on retention, recognition, development, and career advancement.Foster strong communication and collaboration across operational teams and corporate functions.Operations & PerformanceOversee operational performance across a multi-location organization.Ensure consistency with company standards, procedures, and operational expectations.Establish and continuously improve operating procedures, systems, and best practices.Monitor key performance indicators and develop action plans to improve revenue, labor efficiency, profitability, service, and customer satisfaction.Identify operational challenges and implement practical, sustainable solutions.Balance operational consistency with the needs of individual locations and markets.Partner with field leadership to drive execution and accountability.Organizational Growth & DevelopmentProvide operational leadership as the organization evolves and grows.Develop scalable processes, systems, and infrastructure to support organizational needs.Partner with leadership across Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Technology, and other functions to execute business priorities.Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term operational planning.Support operational readiness for organizational initiatives and future growth.Leadership Development & TrainingRecruit, develop, coach, and mentor field and operational leadership.Build a strong pipeline of future managers and operational leaders.Establish effective training and development practices for employees at all levels.Identify high-potential employees and create opportunities for career progression.Promote a culture where strong performance is recognized and employees have opportunities to grow.Develop leaders who can independently manage teams, performance, and operational challenges.Customer Experience & Operational StandardsEnsure locations consistently deliver a high-quality customer experience.Maintain strong standards for service, cleanliness, safety, and overall operational execution.Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and strengthen customer loyalty.Lead by example in creating a welcoming, service-oriented environment.Financial & Business LeadershipMaintain accountability for location-level P&L performance and financial results.Analyze revenue, labor, controllable expenses, and other key financial metrics.Develop strategies to improve profitability while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and manage costs effectively.Partner with Finance and other leadership teams to establish budgets, targets, forecasts, and performance expectations.Translate financial and operational data into clear priorities and actionable strategies.Qualifications & ExperienceEducationBachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required.Professional Experience5+ years of progressive experience in multi-unit operations.Experience in multi-location, high-volume, or service-oriented environments.Demonstrated success leading multiple locations and developing high-performing field teams.Experience managing operational performance across multiple locations or markets.Demonstrated experience recruiting, developing, and retaining employees and management teams.Experience implementing operational processes, systems, and performance standards.Leadership ProfileA credible, engaging leader who inspires trust and earns followership.Strong executive presence combined with an approachable, hands-on leadership style.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Comfortable moving between strategic planning and direct involvement in field operations.Highly motivated, energetic, and passionate about operational excellence.Strong business
