We specialize in providing high-volume contingent staffing, direct hire staffing and project-based solutions to companies worldwide ranging from startups to Fortune 500 and Managed Service Providers (MSP) across a wide variety of industries.The Digital Product Business Systems Analyst partners with the Product Owner, finance leaders, and internal users to translate business needs into system requirements, product priorities, process improvements, and delivery plans. This role supports the maintenance, enhancement, integration, and continuous improvement of PeopleSoft Finance capabilities and related corporate finance processes. The analyst serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, helping ensure that system changes deliver measurable value, support sound financial operations, and meet user and business requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Product Owner to understand the needs of finance leaders, business stakeholders, and internal users, providing insights that support product prioritization and decision-making.Analyze, maintain, enhance, and integrate PeopleSoft Finance capabilities and related finance systems.Build, document, and continuously improve complex finance business processes, with a focus on efficiency, usability, data quality, controls, and customer experience.Translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and other delivery artifacts.Facilitate backlog refinement and support sprint planning, working cross-functionally with Product Owners, developers, testers, data teams, finance stakeholders, and technology partners.Clarify requirements and business rules for the development and configuration teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.Develop test strategies, test scenarios, test data, and test scripts based on requirements and acceptance criteria.Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, defect triage, and validation of delivered functionality.Review test results and confirm that PeopleSoft Finance changes meet business requirements and expected operational outcomes.Support PeopleSoft Finance configuration and functional administration activities, including business process setup, security-related coordination, workflow, reporting, interfaces, and other applicable system components.Support routine production operations, batch processing, interface monitoring, issue investigation, and coordination of incident resolution.Analyze upstream and downstream impacts of configuration, process, data, and system changes.Provide post-implementation support, including configuration updates, production issue resolution, release readiness, regression testing, documentation, and end-user support.Develop communication, process, training, and educational plans to help stakeholders understand and adopt system and process changes.Contribute to formal change management activities and lead internal change efforts for smaller initiatives, while collaborating with project and change leaders on larger or more complex changes.Support the delivery of incremental and continuous value to end users by validating that implemented features and capabilities achieve the intended business outcomes.Understand technical strategy, system integrations, data flows, and cross-functional dependencies. Communicate risks and potential impacts to finance processes as part of product and portfolio planning.Conduct descriptive and diagnostic data analysis to inform business decisions, including root-cause analysis, impact analysis, scenario analysis, operational reporting, and performance reporting.Create working system prototypes, process models, data analyses, and scenario models to support solution design and stakeholder decision-making.Maintain accurate documentation of business processes, requirements, configurations, test results, decisions, operating procedures, and support materialsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, STEM, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Finance is required.Minimum of two years of experience designing, implementing, configuring, supporting, or enhancing finance systems and related data.Strong knowledge of accounting and corporate finance practices, policies, and procedures.Experience supporting one or more PeopleSoft Finance functional areas, such as: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Purchasing, Commitment Control, Project Costing, Billing/TreasuryAdvanced knowledge of business systems analysis principles and practices, including requirements elicitation, process analysis, functional requirements documentation, user-story development, acceptance criteria, and solution validation.Experience working with Agile or Scrum teams.Experience with Jira is required.Strong understanding of finance system integrations, data flows, interfaces, reporting, and upstream and downstream system impacts.Experience creating test strategies, test cases, test scripts, test data, and traceability between requirements and testing activities.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to support data analysis, scenario modeling, process documentation, presentations, and working prototypes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to conduct root-cause analysis, impact analysis, and data-driven investigation.Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, finance stakeholders, end users, and technical teams through verbal, written, and presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting PeopleSoft Finance implementations, upgrades, enhancements, production support, or optimization initiatives.Experience with PeopleSoft Application Designer, Query, Process Scheduler, reporting tools, workflow, security coordination, or related functional support tools.Experience with PeopleTools, integration technologies, web services, interfaces, batch processes, or data conversion activities.Experience supporting PeopleSoft Finance integrations with enterprise resource planning, procurement, payroll, banking, reporting, data warehouse, or other corporate systems.Familiarity with tools such as Aha!, Mural, Confluence, or equivalent product-management and collaboration platforms.Experience supporting organizational change management, communications, training, or user adoption activities.Experience creating operational reports, financial analyses, management reports, or performance dashboards.Experience with finance transformation, enterprise systems modernization, or digital product delivery environments.Experience supporting system upgrades, release management, regression testing, cutover, or post-production hypercare.Rate: $40 - 50/hour At KAYGEN, people are at the heart of everything we do.
