About the role
Overview
In this role you will guide strategic marketing and business development for the Florida Water team, aligning pursuit efforts with firm goals. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to shape win strategies, craft compelling messages, and coordinate pursuit activities across multiple opportunities. You help manage tight deadlines while producing high-quality marketing collateral and presentations. The position sits within a collaborative, growth-oriented Southeast Marketing Group that supports offices across Florida. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to win client work at scale.
Responsibilities Strategic vision and production support for marketing and BD efforts Determine pursuit win strategies and craft sales messages Develop and run capture plan strategies for targeted clients Oversee pursuit and proposal activities Review and edit technical copy for win themes Prepare writing, formatting, and layout of marketing collateral Create supporting sales materials (project descriptions, resumes, service line overviews, executive summaries)Support development of presentations and interviews Conduct web-based market research Identify and attend market-specific events and networking opportunities Organize conference participation and marketing materials Manage multiple marketing activities under tight deadlines
Key requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field or equivalent experience 5+ years of marketing experience in the A/E/C industry Extensive MS Word, Power Point, and Adobe InDesign experience Experience with other graphics software and CRM databases is desirable Exceptional written, editing, and oral communication skills Effective project management including planning, organization, problem identification and resource managementcollaborationself-motivationdeadline-drivenMS Word Power Point Adobe InDesign
