FULLY REMOTE: ScolerTec is seeking multiple Data Quality Analysts to support a large-scale cloud data modernization and governance program. This role will establish and operationalize enterprise data quality practices across critical data domains, systems, interfaces, pipelines, and data products. The Data Quality Analyst will define, implement, monitor, and continuously improve data quality rules, controls, metrics, and processes to ensure enterprise data is accurate, complete, consistent, timely, valid, unique, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities: Define and maintain data quality rules, controls, metrics, thresholds, business validation criteria, and measurement frameworks. Establish data quality requirements with Data Owners, Data Stewards, business stakeholders, and technical teams. Perform data profiling and establish quality baselines, scorecards, dashboards, and trend analysis. Identify, investigate, prioritize, and track data quality issues through resolution. Perform root-cause analysis across source systems, business processes, transformations, integrations, and downstream consumption. Implement automated data quality checks, monitoring, controls, and alerting. Define and measure quality dimensions including accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity, uniqueness, and integrity. Partner with Data Engineers to embed quality controls within ETL/ELT pipelines and data products. Support data modernization, migration, integration, and transformation initiatives. Align data quality rules with enterprise data standards, metadata, glossary definitions, and governance requirements. Support development of data quality policies, procedures, standards, and maturity models. Provide quality metrics and reporting to governance councils and program leadership.
Qualifications: 6+ years of overall experience, including at least 3+ years of specialized data quality or related data-management experience. Hands-on experience with data quality profiling, monitoring, validation, and remediation. Experience supporting enterprise data governance programs. Strong understanding of data quality management, metadata, and stewardship. Experience defining enterprise data standards across multiple teams. Understanding of data modeling, integration patterns, and change data capture. Experience with metadata/catalog tools and implementing glossary and lineage capabilities. Experience translating technical metadata into business-friendly definitions. Experience working with regulated or high-sensitivity data. Experience with privacy controls, access management, and compliant data sharing.
Preferred Qualifications: Federal Government or regulated-environment experience. Enterprise data governance frameworks and operating models. Data management certification. Experience with cloud data quality/governance platforms such as Collibra, Informatica, Databricks, AWS, or similar technologies.
