Job Description:
Creative Dog Training’s Summit campus is looking for a caring, dependable Dog Daycare Attendant to help provide safe, structured, and enriching care for the dogs we serve. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with dogs, understands the importance of consistent care, and can thrive in a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise playgroups and encourage safe, appropriate behavior. Maintain clean and sanitary play, rest, and common areas. Feed dogs and administer medications according to instructions. Provide basic bathing and grooming as needed. Exercise dogs and support their physical and mental enrichment. Assist trainers with obedience exercises and behavior reinforcement. Monitor dogs for signs of illness, stress, or distress.
Requirements:
Genuine care for dogs and a strong interest in animal welfare. Understanding of basic canine behavior and care. Previous experience in dog daycare, boarding, veterinary care, or a similar setting preferred. Ability to safely and compassionately handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments. Reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and with a team. Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and stay active throughout the day.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pet first aid and CPR certification. Knowledge of positive reinforcement training. Experience administering medications. Familiarity with breed characteristics and basic grooming.
