Electrical Engineering Technician📍 Location: Miami Lakes, FL🏢 Work Environment: Onsite
Position Summary: Insight Global is seeking Electrical Engineering Technicians to support the installation, maintenance, repair, and assembly of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment in a regulated environment. This role supports machine wiring, equipment troubleshooting, documentation activities, quality initiatives, and production operations at a medical device manufacturing company.
Responsibilities: Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical systems, motors, controls, wiring, and related equipment. Perform electrical wiring of machines. Complete mechanical assembly of machines. Create electrical and pneumatic schematics. Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting activities. Record and report verification results. Participate in Quality Management System (QMS) audits and respond to audit assignments. Follow company policies and procedures to support product integrity and quality. Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer installation manuals. Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans. Complete work orders and document materials used during projects. Train and support electrician assistants as needed. Submit purchase order requisitions. Support packaging, boxing, and shipment preparation activities. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical or Associate degree preferred.3+ years of experience assembling, servicing, and/or installing electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment in a regulated environment. Demonstrated knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair. Ability to collaborate across departments to support project requirements and business needs. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
