About the role

Offshore Inspector In the context of a major offshore inspection project in Africa, d 2m Services is looking for an Offshore Inspector to support the analysis of the results of a comprehensive inspection campaign carried out notably by drone on several offshore assets. The inspection scope includes: Jackets and legs of offshore platforms; Telecom masts; Bridges / walkways; Flare tips; Hull and mooring lines of an FSO; External inspection of tanks. The inspection campaigns will generate a significant volume of reports, findings, and photographic data. The challenge of the mission is to provide complementary expertise to transform the inspection results into technical recommendations and concrete maintenance, directly exploitable by the client's teams to prepare and prioritize work and technical stops. Missions From the inspection reports, findings, and photographs available, you will be notably responsible for: Analyzing the anomalies and degradations noted during the inspections; Evaluating their criticality with regard to the integrity of structures and equipment; Determining the actions to be taken: repair, maintenance, surveillance, or additional investigation; Defining and prioritizing the work recommendations; Specifying, when necessary, the nature and level of priority of the interventions to be foreseen; Providing a technical vision allowing the maintenance teams to plan and prioritize actions; Exchanging with the inspection teams to complete or clarify certain findings. The mission requires a real ability to move from the inspection finding to a technical and operational recommendation.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
