About the role

Overview In this role, you will transform raw data into strategic insights that influence customer behavior and market trends for the Verizon Consumer Group. You’ll build high-scale analytics products and dashboards, supporting Digital Sales and Service teams with data-driven decisions. You drive predictive models, data quality, and scalable data pipelines to improve revenue and retention. You will lead process improvements and apply UI/UX principles to data visualization, keeping Verizon at the forefront of analytics. Compensation / Benefitshealth and wellness benefits (medical, dental, vision)disability and life insuranceAD&D and identity protectionpet insurance 401(k) with company matchpaid holidays and personal days and parental leave Responsibilities Develop high-scale systems, applications, and advanced dashboards using Big Data technologies Design and refine predictive models to address complex business questions and improve operational predictability Extract actionable insights from large datasets to drive revenue and customer retention Lead process improvement initiatives and ensure rigorous data quality standards Apply UI/UX design principles to data visualization Stay at the forefront of modeling techniques and industry trends to keep Verizon’s analytics ahead of the game Key requirements Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience Six or more years of relevant work experience Experience in data management, analysis and visualization Expertise with Google Cloud Platform (Big Query / Vertex AI / Looker / LookML / Looker Studio Pro)Experience in Looker & Qlik or similar visual analysis tool Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale datasets, optimizing query performance and dashboard responsiveness Experience with data modeling using LookML in Looker Experience as a data scientist, analyst, or statistical modeler Experience with SQLExperience in designing, developing and implementing ETL processes Experience leveraging AI tools like Claude, Antigravity, and CO-Pilot Clear communication to non-technical audiences Knowledge sharing and mentoring Strong problem-solving and judgment Big Data technologies Data modelingSQL
