Job Description: Hiring Immediately! Solidworks Designer working Machine Build ProjectsA local company with a facility in the Plymouth / Westland, MI area is currently seeking several CAD Designers with Solidworks 3D CAD software experience for opportunities with their growing team. The position is a contract opportunity but may possibly lead to direct hire. This is an excellent opportunity for CAD Designers looking for a company that offers excellent management, competitive rates, and exciting projects. CAD Designer hourly rates are anticipated to be hourly based on each candidates experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Qualified Cad Designers will have most, if not all of the following skills and experience:* 3+ years of recent/relevant experience with Solidworks 3D Cad Software* 3+ years of recent/relevant experience design and detail of Sheet Metal, weld fixtures, and special machines with Solidworks.* Must have experience creating 3D files from 2D drawings, and creating Step Files.* An Associate's degree is a benefit but not essential.* Must be able to work in the United States (No H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered)* Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
