About the role

Anesthesia Technician, Perioperative Services, Full Time, Days, 10:30-19:00 The Anesthesia Technician is responsible for maintaining the anesthesia storage areas, ensuring that patient care items are available, and assisting the anesthesiologist and Perioperative staff. Assisting the anesthesiologist and perioperative staff with anesthesia related tasks. e.g. difficult intubation, A-line insertion, spinal or epidural blocks. Assuring the availability of adequate level of anesthesia supplies and equipment to support the patient care needs in each location (Main OR, ASC, Cath. Lab., GI Lab., and L & D) Maintaining the anesthesia storage areas in a clean and orderly fashion for easy access.

Required Skills: Verbal and written communication skills Computer skills

Required Experience: BLS from American Heart AssociationLA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment1-Year experience as an Anesthesia Tech; Perfusion Assistant or Respiratory Technician.

Preferred: Anesthesia Tech Certification

Minimum Salary: $26.13 Maximum Salary: $43.11
