Job Description: Job Description We are a leader in coatings and surface finishing. We are looking to hire a full time operator to run our PVD (Particle Vapor Deposition) chambers. Candidate should be mechanically and electronically adept and able to learn the specifics of our processes. Training will be provided but a knowledge of materials, chemistry and ability to do outside research to learn the technology is important. Need to be able to run inorganic thin film structures and processes using vacuum chambers. Qualify and specify new physical vapor deposition ( PVD ) processes for productions. Participate in scheduling, maintenance and production activities as needed. Perform analyses and characterization of coatings. Interact with customers to better understand their needs, offer technical support and recommend coatings for their applications. Offer internal support in the quoting process. Contribute toward improvement to existing processes and structures. Willing to learn how to build, repair, upgrade and maintain our deposition systems. Basic knowledge in electricity and electronics is preferred.
