About the role
Job Description:
Project Development and Delivery, an innovative origination within Transmission Line Engineering, that is tasked with the integration of clean energy into company's electrical systems seeks a dedicated, dynamic, and innovative Estimator to augment its team. The selected Estimator will be on the leading edge of incorporating renewable energy generation such as Offshore Wind, Large Scale Batteries and Hydroelectric into the company's distribution system. In addition, the selected Estimator will support large scale infrastructure projects throughout our service territory. Experience with HeavyBid is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities:
Ensure that environmental, health and safety work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations. Commitment to the Way We Work Principles and adheres to Company Standards of Business Conduct and other Company procedures including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Diversity and Inclusion and Security. Prepares multi-discipline cost estimates for Transmission Engineering which incorporates outage and schedule requirements. Identifies, recommends, and implements methods of productivity improvements and cost reductions. Develops procedures and guidelines for Central Engineering (CENG) and Transmission Engineering. Interfaces with operating organizations, construction and CENG disciplines to ensure that all aspects of the project have been incorporated in the estimate. Assist, coaches, and trains in the principles, guidelines, procedures, and processes of estimating. Evaluate estimating results, recommends follow-ups, and coordinates to implement necessary changes/updates. Act in the capacity of Section Manager during his Managers absence.#cspro
