Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Machine Setup: Load raw materials, mount tools, and prepare workpieces. Operation & Monitoring: Start machine cycles, oversee production runs, and adjust speeds or tool wear offsets as needed. Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to verify strict tolerances. Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning, remove chip buildup, and conduct basic routine maintenance on equipment. Safety: Follow all factory safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications & Skills
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and basic CAD/CAM files.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on manufacturing or machining experience. Professional certifications (such as NIMS or FMA) are a plus.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
