About the role

Regional Sales Engineer Plymovent Inc. | Multiple U.S. Regions | Full-time We are hiring. Plymovent is expanding its national sales presence and is looking for Regional Sales Engineers who combine commercial drive with technical confidence. If you excel at building markets, supporting partners, and translating engineered solutions into customer value, this is an opportunity to make a measurable regional impact. In this field-focused role, you will develop your territory, strengthen distributor performance, engage architects, engineers, contractors, and end-users, and guide customers toward effective industrial ventilation and air quality solutions. The position is approximately 70% commercial and 30% technical, including application support, system design input, and hands-on product training.
Work arrangement: Home-office based, with approximately 30-40% regional overnight travel and periodic in-office collaboration.
What you will do: Achieve and exceed regional sales targets by developing distributor networks and building relationships with end-users. Identify new market opportunities across industrial, commercial, and public-sector environments. Improve distributor performance through technical training, sales coaching, business planning, and application support. Provide design guidance, system recommendations, and clear technical expertise throughout the sales process. Develop annual sales strategies, budgets, and rolling forecasts in collaboration with senior leadership. Build relationships with architects, engineers, and contractors to increase specifications and project involvement. Monitor market and competitor activity, identify emerging sectors, and present growth opportunities. Partner with marketing on campaigns, outreach, trade shows, conferences, and regional sales events. Use CRM tools to manage accounts, quotes, opportunities, and targeted sales campaigns while maintaining regional budget controls.
What you bring: At least five years of B2B sales experience in ventilation, HVAC, industrial equipment, engineered systems, or a related technical sector. A record of executing sales strategies, developing channels, and growing territories. Strong technical aptitude and the ability to explain complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences. An entrepreneurial, customer-focused approach with sound problem-solving skills. The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across technical sales support, customer service, marketing, and product management. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, organizational, and priority-management skills. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
