Completion of the Illinois Certified Nurse Assistant Instructor Course. One year experience working in either/or extended care unit, geriatrics department, chronic care unit, hospice, swing bed unit of hospital, or other long-term care setting.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Certified Nurse Assistant Program Instructor - {Full Time}Participates in organizing program of practical and technical instruction, including demonstrations of skills required in tradeParticipates in preparing outline of instructional program and assembles material to be presented in accordance with school policies and curriculaPlans and supervises work of students, individually or in small groups, in laboratory and/or clinicalTests and evaluates achievement of student theoretical/practical knowledge and trade skillsPlaces and supervises students at the clinical site and/or laboratoryAssists the school in developing and maintaining a quality program of instructionMaintains currency in teaching field through professional developmentPerforms other duties as assigned
