Role Description:
This is a part-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Ocoee, FL. The Salesperson will assist customers in selecting ceiling fans, parts, and accessories that meet their needs, providing product information and demonstrating key features in the showroom. Daily responsibilities include greeting customers, answering questions, processing sales transactions, and maintaining clean, well-organized displays. The role also involves learning product specifications, updating inventory on the sales floor, and supporting promotional activities to drive store traffic and revenue. The Salesperson will collaborate with store leadership to ensure a high-quality, welcoming customer experience.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and sales skills, including the ability to build rapport, understand customer needs, and close sales. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical product features in clear, accessible language. Basic math, computer, and point-of-sale (POS) skills for handling transactions, inventory checks, and order entry. Ability to learn and retain product knowledge, including fan models, parts, accessories, and customization options. Reliability and professionalism, with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean, organized retail environment. Comfort working on-site in a retail setting, including standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting or moving products. Prior retail or home improvement sales experience is preferred but not required; willingness to receive training is essential. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
