About the role

We're looking for a skilled Video Editor / After Effects VFX Artist to help us create high-quality, fast-paced YouTube content. This is not a traditional raw-footage editing role. The Style We're Going For We're aiming for a style similar to: MrBeast Ben Azelart Stokes Twins Other high-energy, retention-focused YouTube creators The goal is for the final video to feel polished, exciting, and professional --- not basic or overly simple.
What You'll Be Doing: You'll work from a pre-cut video and add: After Effects / VFX Motion graphics Speed ramps Slow-mo ? normal speed ? slow-mo effects Object highlights and glows Colored glows on objects/doors/etc. Shiny object effects Dynamic zooms and punch-ins Transitions On-screen graphics and animations Visual effects that enhance jokes, reactions, and important moments Other creative effects that improve viewer retention We want someone who knows when and where to use effects, not someone who simply adds effects everywhere.
What We're Looking For: Strong After Effects skills Strong VFX and motion graphics experience Experience editing YouTube content Good understanding of pacing and viewer retention Strong visual storytelling Ability to follow an existing edit without changing the story Ability to take feedback and work from editing notes High attention to detail Clean, polished work DaVinci Resolve experience is a plus, as we're looking to work within a collaborative editing workflow. Bonus You can create YouTube thumbnails Experience with MrBeast, Ben Azelart, Stokes Twins, or similar content Experience working with creators or YouTube channels What You'll Receive Our team will provide the pre-cut/edit-ready video and direction. You'll focus on taking that edit to the next level through VFX, motion graphics, and visual polish. We already have projects ready, so there is an opportunity for ongoing work if it's a good fit.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
