We operate manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. We have an immediate opening, seeking full-time Log Lift Operator at our facility in Mill Creek, West Virginia. This is a great opportunity that can provide exciting growth within the organization.
Key Responsibilities and Duties: Ensures safety protocol and policies are adhered to safety-minded Material Handling: Safely operate Log Lift to unload incoming log trucks, move logs, and feed them to the sawmill's log deck. Sorting & Stacking: Identify log species and organize them for efficient processing; stack logs in the yard. Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily checks, keep equipment clean, and conduct minor maintenance. Safety & Coordination: Adhere to strict safety rules, communicate with truck drivers, and work with the log yard team. Quality Control: Identify and correct quality issues in log placement and handling
Basic Qualifications: Safety-conscious attitude and experience. Must possess skills, knowledge, and experience to operate a forklift Strong work ethic with the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment. Must work well as a team member. Highly organized and proven communication skills. Must have excellent attendance
