Haynes Wire Machine Operators specialize in wire drawing, a precision metalworking process that reduces wire diameter by pulling it through a single die or a series of drawing dies. This role requires technical focus, attention to safety, and independent performance on the night shift.
Key responsibilities include: Operate wire drawing machinery efficiently. Pull metal wire through dies safely. Reduce wire cross-sections to precise specifications. Set up single and multi-die series. Monitor precision metalworking processes continuously. Inspect finished wire for dimensional accuracy.
Role requirements include: Minimum 1 year of manufacturing/machining experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Night shift (3:00 PM 11:00 PM).Strong mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading. High reliability for independent night shift operations. Benefits & pay include: Starting pay: $21.30 $23.00 hourly (plus shift premium pay).Pay increases: Additional raises within 3 months and at 1 year.
