Description: Assistant Operations ILocation: Redlands, CA Duration: Approximately 3 months, with potential for extension and possible conversion Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 12:00 PM-9:00 PM Friday: 10:30 AM-7:30 PM Work Arrangement: Onsite Positions Available: 2 Interview: In-person interview required Position Overview The Assistant Operations I will support pharmacy operations by coordinating, assembling, packing, and shipping patient orders. This role will also assist with warehouse inventory, stocking, receiving, shipping documentation, and maintaining an organized and efficient work environment. This is a physically demanding, safety-sensitive position. No pharmacy technician license is required.
Key Responsibilities: Retrieve and organize shipping documents and labels for order picking. Assist with packing and shipping medications and supplies. Track shipped packages and report undelivered packages. Organize daily shipping reports for management review. Receive non-pharmaceutical inventory through the back dock. Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked warehouse area. Conduct physical inventory and daily cycle counts. Restock pharmacy picking areas. Assist with purchase orders, inventory receiving, tracking, and reconciliation. Select products and supplies under the supervision of a pharmacist. Maintain appropriate pharmaceutical product and supply levels. Process returned goods according to established procedures. Use computer systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel for operational tasks. Perform additional warehouse and pharmacy operations duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or purchasing environment Data entry experience is preferred. Experience with packing and shipping through national carriers is preferred. Pharmacy experience is a plus. Ability to learn and use computer systems. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Basic typing/computer skills; 10-key experience preferred. Ability to operate a pallet jack. Pharmacy Technician license is NOT required.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment. Ability to reach, twist, turn, bend, stoop, and walk for extended periods. Must be able to safely utilize a pallet jack.
