BOARD MEMBER: Community Relations Coordinator

Builds and actively nurtures long-term, genuine connections within the local Muslim community, sister organizations, and external partners. Manages and continuously updates the organization's outreach documents, ensuring a clean, organized database of community contacts, vendors, and partners. Acts as the primary bridge between members and leadership, actively gathering community input on preferred events and translating that feedback into actionable ideas. Identifies strategic opportunities for collaborations, joint events, sponsorship leads, and community service initiatives that align with the organization's mission. Represents the organization at external community events and initiatives, projecting a professional, warm, and welcoming presence. Drives member recruitment and retention by keeping an eye on community gaps, ensuring the organization remains deeply responsive to the community's evolving needs.
