About the role
The Keller Group is excited to support our Phoenix-based client in their search for a Project Manager - Commercial Real Estate Development . This is a high-visibility, hands-on development role supporting a fast-paced real estate investment and construction environment. As a key member of the Development & Construction team, you will own the day-to-day execution of multiple projects simultaneously while serving as the primary point of coordination between internal leadership, contractors, consultants, tenants, and external partners.
This role will join a highly entrepreneurial, growing organization with a strong pipeline of ground-up and tenant improvement projects across Arizona and beyond. It offers significant ownership, exposure to the full development lifecycle, and long-term growth potential within a dynamic and expanding platform.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN Lead and manage multiple concurrent commercial real estate development projects from concept through completion
Oversee ground-up construction and tenant improvement (TI) projects across various stages of the development lifecycle
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to establish budgets, schedules, and execution plans
Drive entitlement, permitting, and pre-construction activities in partnership with city officials and design teams
Manage project budgets, timelines, and quality control to ensure successful delivery across all phases
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, internal leadership, lenders, and capital partners
Oversee general contractors and construction managers while maintaining owner-side accountability
Prepare project reporting, status updates, and risk assessments for internal and external stakeholders
Support draw requests, lender coordination, and financial tracking in partnership with capital sources
Identify and resolve project issues quickly while maintaining strong forward momentum across active builds
WHAT WE'R LOOKING FOR 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate development, construction management, or related project management roles
Strong background in both ground-up construction and tenant improvement projects
Experience working with or for developers, owner's representatives, or general contractors strongly preferred
Familiarity with entitlements, permitting, and municipal coordination
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with strong organizational discipline
Comfort operating across both field-level execution and executive-level communication
Strong budgeting and cost management experience across commercial construction projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore, Asana, or MS Project a plus
Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven approach to project execution
Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate clearly with leadership, tenants, and external partners
