Role Description: The Digital Marketing Strategist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Los Angeles, CA, with flexibility for work-from-home arrangements. In this role, the strategist develops and executes full-funnel digital marketing strategies across paid media, SEO, Social, lifecycle marketing, Influencer, CRO, and AI Marketing to drive growth for client brands. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing performance data, identifying opportunities, building integrated campaign plans, and collaborating with each team role to achieve client outcomes. The strategist will regularly meet with clients to understand business objectives, present insights and recommendations, and refine strategies based on results. This position also involves contributing to AI-enabled marketing workflows, documenting best practices, and utilizing technology to its full potential.
Qualifications: Demonstrated expertise in full-funnel digital marketing strategy from awareness, consideration, acquisition, and retention Strong skills in marketing analytics, performance reporting, and data-driven decision-making using tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms. Experience collaborating with content and creative teams to align messaging, brand positioning, and campaign assets with strategic goals. Ability to design and optimize lifecycle and retention programs (email, CRM, marketing automation) to improve customer engagement and revenue. Comfort working with or around AI-enabled marketing tools, automated workflows, and experimentation frameworks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing presentation and storytelling capabilities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Previous agency or multi-client environment experience is highly beneficial, especially with scaleups or mid-size brands. Preferences: Previous agency experience Competent understanding across all marketing channels and how they work together Technical savvy: AI adoption & direct experience utilizing LLM's to streamline marketing activity & use as a force multiplier 4+ years of account management experience in digital media (social, SEO, ads, content, PR, etc.), driving revenue 4+ years or multiple projects in CPG, Medical, Retail, Health & Wellness, Beauty, Fashion, and E-commerce industries. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present strategies and results clearly. A passion for staying updated on industry trends and a commitment to continuous learning.
