Summary: To assist the clinician in providing medical care to the patients of the Medical Practice.
Responsibilities: Prepares materials, supplies, equipment, and the patient to assist clinician with the patient's medical exam. 2. Obtains the patient's history and medical information. 3. Provides direct patient care as directed by a Registered Nurse or clinician. 4. Collects and processes specimens as directed by the clinician and performs point of care testing. 5. Administers medications, and vaccinations as directed by the clinician. Instructs the patient and family on how to perform clinician recommended preventive care, takes prescribed medication, prepares for tests, monitors treatment progress and notes symptom changes. 6. Contacts the patient to provide requested follow-up, advises them of test results or relays clinicians instructions. 7. Fulfills and adheres to all compliance responsibilities related to the position. 8. Maintains and Models the Organizations values. 9. Demonstrates regular, dependable, and predictable attendance. 10. Performs other duties as required. Education Skills Experience High School diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited LPN Program. Desired: Previous medical office experience preferred.
Other Information: Ability to travel between practices as needed. Required: Active LPN License based on state; BLS certification required within 30 days.
