****Please note: This role is not eligible for 100% remote work. Employees must live within a commutable distance of a Slalom office and must be willing to be onsite at the client and/or Slalom office in Seattle when needed. This role could require travel to support the region between 10-20%.****

This position reports to the Amazon Capability Lead and is based in Seattle supporting the Amazon Account, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving Data and AI sales and fostering customer‑centric go‑to‑market strategies.
What You’ll Do
You will join a Data & AI Go‑to‑Market team for the Amazon Account. You will be responsible for driving the growth of Slalom’s data and AI offerings. You'll help foster an entrepreneurial team culture that positions Slalom as a trusted innovation partner across the Amazon Account.
In this uniquely positioned role, you’ll drive innovation, execution, and business transformation. At Slalom, you’ll lead with purpose—pairing human ingenuity with the power of data to transform how organizations operate, compete, and grow. You’ll collaborate with leading technology partners and Slalom client teams to identify high‑impact opportunities, drive sales and revenue growth, and elevate our go‑to‑market presence.
Slalom’s Data & AI capability is building the next generation of data‑driven organizations by leveraging data and AI as strategic differentiators. We help clients shift mindsets, foster data‑driven cultures, and build modern data and AI solutions that accelerate the creation of products, services, and experiences—driving measurable value for organizations, employees, and customers.
Strategic Solutioning: Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and statements of work (SOW) to drive business growth. Help shape capability strategies to the Amazon Account, considering unique business unit portfolios, market maturity, and geographic factors
Identify opportunities for Slalom in Data & AI within the Amazon Account, both in existing and new environments
Subject Matter Expertise: As a senior leader, engage with clients, influence executives, and drive customer‑focused solutions. Leverage your deep understanding of data and AI to deliver value
Data and AI Thought Leader: Serve as a data and AI thought leader by speaking at external events and partnering with marketing to create and lead thought leadership events
Ignite awareness and generate demand for Data and Intelligence capabilities by engaging in campaigns, RFIs, RFPs, workshops, and POCs
Revenue Impact: $2.5M+ personal contributions and a $5M+ portfolio of business
Utilization: 45%-65% (varies based on Senior Principal/Director leveling)
What You’ll Bring
Prior Consulting Experience: 8+ years in consulting leadership specializing in Data, Analytics, or AI
Consulting Sales: 7-10 years of leading technical pursuits with proven experience in technical solutioning, GTM strategy, and account growth
Business Development: Track record of growing existing client relationships and expanding new accounts
Activator Mindset: Demonstrate high ownership, curiosity, and persistence to proactively identify, pursue, and develop opportunities, using Data & AI as a catalyst to expand relationships and drive growth
Drive Outcomes: Shape solutions with clients that focus on business outcomes and impact
Technical Excellence: Be an excellent technical leader with experience solutioning and delivering with AWS technology and services
Exceptional Communication: Proven ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
Proactive GTM Mentality: Build relationships and actively seek opportunities to expand the sales pipeline, partnering with sales/client partners to generate leads
Collaboration: Exhibit strong collaborative skills across different teams and organizations to drive Data and Intelligence sales and customer‑focused strategies
Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for a Senior Principal is $175,000 to $230,000. For this position at the Director level the base salary pay range is $230,000 – $280,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
