About the role

DealJet sits between privately held businesses and the advisory firms that take them to market. We originate lower middle market M&A opportunities for a select group of boutique investment banks and sell side advisors, and our outbound work is producing active engagements and closed transactions across multiple sectors. This is cold calling on a parallel dialer, roughly 1,700 dials and 40 to 60 live answers a day, of which about 10 become real conversations with an owner. One of those conversations can put a multi million dollar transaction in motion, and the person who sourced it shares in it.
The Role: This is a pure SDR seat: you book the introduction, and the advisor runs it from there. You will call founders, CEOs, and owners of privately held businesses doing $5M to $100M in revenue. The conversations cover growth, succession, acquisitions, and what an exit could look like. Most of these owners built the company themselves. The work is to earn enough trust in a few minutes that an owner tells you where they actually are, then judge whether the timing is right to introduce them to one of our advisory clients. We are their first impression of that firm, so polish and judgment matter on every call. The talk track has been tested across tens of thousands of calls and refined over years. The list, the tools, and the training are provided. You run a playbook that already produces closed transactions.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
