Applicants may be referred for consideration as vacancies occur.Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience or educational substitution requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions here under the heading Clerical and Administrative Support Positions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NK-01, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include examples of managing personnel and manpower programs (e.g., performance evaluations, awards, manning documents); overseeing administrative and correspondence management (e.g., official correspondence, records management, office procedures); and providing administrative support for readiness and deployment programs. OR EDUCATION: Successfully completed four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
