About the role
We’re looking for a Trade Supervisor/Construction to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who can, under the supervision of the Construction Operations Manager, perform work in remodeling projects for the Authority. Is responsible for supervising and personally assisting one or more trades staff in performing a variety of duties related to the specific trade.

Operations Support Center: 1300 N 130th St, Seattle, WA 98133 The ideal candidate will have: Minimum Qualifications High school or equivalent education. Five years of relevant work experience plus two years of supervisory or assistant supervisory experience.
Licenses And Other Requirements:
Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's License and fully insurable driving record. Must acquire and maintain a Washington First Aid Certificate within six months. What will you do? Inspect housing units to evaluate condition and safety, providing recommendations for operations and capital budget needs. Perform cost estimates for assigned projects. Maintain records, notes, and reports; conduct evaluations on staff, equipment, inventory, and assigned systems. Manage and supervise assigned construction projects from start to completion. Facilitate staff participation in developing, implementing, and improving service delivery to support agency mission and strategies. Coach and support staff in creating and executing work plans and initiatives; develop communication plans and establish tracking processes linked to performance evaluations. Work collaboratively with colleagues, follow directions effectively, and perform well under stress. Ensure adherence to all safety and health rules; conduct workplace inspections; investigate accidents and ensure timely formal reporting; monitor and enforce the agency’s Safety and Health Program. Initiate purchases to maintain adequate inventory of materials required for the trade. Maintain accurate time records for assigned staff. Procure subcontractors as needed for projects.
