Position Summary:
The Learning Partner is responsible for ensuring operational effectiveness within the team and supporting the timely execution of quality training deliverables to Busey associates. The Partner facilitates associate onboarding, coordinates and manages standing monthly & series trainings and manages the Busey University training calendar. This role also serves as an administrative point person for niche initiatives and as a Brand and Communications ambassador for the Professional and Leadership Development team, ensuring a consistent and professional image across all internal customer-facing resources. The Partner collaborates closely with subject matter experts in Human Resources, Wellness and lines of business across the organization, reporting to the Professional and Leadership Development Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
ResponsibilitiesTraining Program Partnership & FacilitationCoordinate and facilitate standing monthly training sessions and ongoing training series, including planning, scheduling, working with subject-matter experts, survey analysis and followup
Facilitate associate onboarding programs, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and highquality experience for new hires
Design, develop, and facilitate training programs as needed using adult learning principles and a variety of delivery methods (inperson, virtual, and blended)
Manage and maintain the Busey University training calendar in collaboration with the Professional and Leadership Development team, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and timely advertising and communication with stakeholders
Training Operations & Event ManagementPlan, coordinate, and execute inperson training events, including logistics, materials, room setup, technology needs, and participant communications
Serve as an administrative point person for niche or specialized Professional and Leadership Development initiatives
Organize team meetings, planning sessions, and special occasions
Brand, Communication & MediaServe as a Brand and Communications ambassador for the Professional and Leadership Development team, ensuring consistency in branding, messaging, and customerfacing materials
Produce, edit, and maintain training videos and multimedia content to support learning initiatives and ondemand resources
Ensure training materials and communications align with organizational brand standards and reinforce a positive associate experience
Evaluation, Insights & Continuous ImprovementAnalyze training survey data and feedback, identifying trends and summarizing key themes and insights for leadership and stakeholders, especially as it applies to new associate onboarding
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend enhancements based on data, feedback, and organizational priorities
Leadership & Team SupportCollaborate with Professional and Leadership Development and HR partners to align training efforts with organizational goals and workforce needs
May have supervisory or workgroup-lead responsibilities as opportunities arise, including providing guidance, coordination, and peer support

Education & Experience:
Knowledge of: Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail
Working knowledge of talent development practices and adult learning theory
Ability to: Learn new programs and systems quickly
Analyze and solve problems
Perform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressures
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently and effectively in a fastpaced environment
Education and Training:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Talent Development, Organizational Development, or a related field required
Minimum of 2 years of previous training or facilitation experience required
Experience supporting or leading onboarding, training programs, or learning initiatives preferred
