About the role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance, client engagements, project management, and staff development.
Responsibilities:
Review individual, business, trust, corporate, and partnership tax returns. Identify and resolve tax issues and provide tax planning recommendations. Manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and deliverables. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned engagements. Coordinate and delegate work to staff and review their deliverables. Maintain strong professional relationships with clients. Stay current with tax laws, regulations, and industry developments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA or EA license required.6–8+ years of tax compliance experience, including individual and business taxation. Strong knowledge of federal and state taxation. Experience with corporate, partnership, and trust taxation preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and tax research skills.
