DESCRIPTION:
Toscana Forno Reading and Forno Peabody are looking for an experienced full time Pizzaiolo! We take pride in our made from scratch pizzas and we are looking for more amazing Pizza Cooks with a strong work ethic to join our team! If you take pride in what you do and love working with locally sourced fresh ingredients, making the dough from scratch, stretching and rolling it to the perfect size pizza with consistency every time, this is your place to be. We require brick oven experience for this role. This position requires full flexibility for day and night shifts and weekends. If you thrive in a lively fast paced kitchen environment and love creating delicious dishes in a scratch kitchen with authentic Italian recipes, this is your chance to be part of a unique concept that celebrates culinary creativity. Must be available to work weekends ( Including Sundays ) and holidays.
Duties:
Prepare and cook pizzas with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza kitchen, adhering to food safety and handling regulations. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to create a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant, catering. Strong skills and proficiency in pizza making including stretching and rolling of dough to perfection. Experience with Brick Ovens required. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Must be able to lift 50lb.
